February 10, 2019 Dear Potential Exhibitor: The Pacific Sections of the AAPG, SEPM and SEG are holding a joint annual meeting at the Pointe Conference Center in the Walter Pyramid at California State University, Long Beach on April 1-3, 2019. The annual Convention is an important opportunity for geologists and geophysicists to expand their knowledge of their profession through oral and poster presentations, forums, exhibits and informal discussions with vendors and fellow professionals. This meeting – focusing on Creativity – will experiment with a non-traditional format that will include a major invited theme session and include two field trips as part of the registration. I am pleased to announce the availability of exhibitor booth space for the 2019 convention. There is no better place to network for new business opportunities, inspire innovation, or to re-connect with old acquaintances than one of our Sectional Meetings. The meeting will bring together geoscientists from across the western states and beyond and will provide an exciting opportunity to exchange ideas on a broad range of geoscience topics. The upcoming meeting is expected to be attended by, and is being planned for, ~200 attendees. This year’s convention will have a slightly different schedule than our past meetings: Monday April 1, 2019
Tuesday, April 2, 2019
Wednesday, April 3, 2019
*Two new kinds of oral sessions: Vendor-Exhibitor Preview and Government Agency presentations (DOGGR, BOEM, BLM, USGS, Water Resources, State Lands, etc). In addition to the exhibitor hall the 2019 convention committee would like to solicit talks and abstracts to add to a new Vendor-Exhibitor Preview.
